I purchased my Impala as a parts car almost 23 years ago for $300. Decided not to use it as a parts car. I swapped out the 283 and put a 327 in it. I drove it for a while. I got married and it sat. It had two different motors before our resto. I raced it in PHX in the street stock before I had to give the motor back to the owner. Then I got divorced and it sat at my sister's in AZ from 93 to 96. In 1996 my current wife and I decided to not let the baby die! This was really when I got my wild hair!
