I inherited this car and am looking for any opinions on what I can do to hook it up.

This car has a 1G-GTE twin turbo 2.5L engine I have not found any upgrades for it but would like to keep it any suggestions?

This is a right hand drive car with lots of potential. Please give Ideas on what mods to make.

This is me running hard with a R34/GTR Skyline last week.

Nice car, I'm running a '92 1JZ, its very nice. JDMSupraTT is right, thats a 2.0L. ALL THE SAME, its a GREAT motor. I'm a big fan or Supra's, specifically the mk3's. Took me a fair bit to get a Supra imported to the west coast of Canada.

I understand your car has a running engine and is registered and is legal to operate on roads all I am saying is get a car that is worth putting money into. you have clearly put more money into your car than it is worth. And as for doing every thing your self I sold my firebird formula which I payed for myself my 2000 explorer which I payed for myself my nissan altima which I payed for myself my suzuki bandit which I payed for myself.... I know all about doing things on my own this is the first time I have had something dropped in my lap.I am only 24 years old and have accomplished a lot and will continue to do so. So dont invest more money than your car is worth, with all the money you have put into your car you could have bought a good car. Thank you and have a nice day.

The above is what you posted in my guestbook in response the post I left in yours. You have no idea how much money I have invested in the little Prizm, fella. I got an outstanding deal on the car buying it from a retiring nun. The wheels/tires were scored on another really great deal as well as having a bolt-pattern applicable to tons of different cars so can be potentially used on my next vehicle as well. The paint job was done by a good friend (can we say "Good paintjob. Better price!"). The custom decals were made by another friend and were FREE. I shop very well when it comes to audio equipment and don't mind buying used to save some cash. Additionally it's just more stuff that can be uninstalled and moved to a 'next' vehicle. All told I have much less money invested in my car than you might think which was kinda the theme ~ the best possible outcome, without being tacky, on the least possible expenditure. The car suits my purposes. It was cheap to own. It's cheap to run (30mpg in town) It's cheap to maintain. It's unfailingly reliable. The bottom line is if you can't appreciate someone's efforts and/or just don't care for their ride, fine! Don't make a guestbook posting that is unwarranted, rude, and completely negative without cause.

You've got a nice Supra, guy. Hard to beat a Toyota in reliability. Good luck with all your future plans for it.

get a real car
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well ~ after your kindly post I felt it would only be neighborly to come and return the favor...
What is it, exactly, that you define as a "real car"? I have to use a key to start it...I have to have current AUTOMOBILE insurance and current CAR registration to legally operate it on a public roadway...it requires gasoline to run...lemme see...Oh Yeah! Here's the BEST thing! The engine in my 'fake car' (I'll assume it's a fake car since you claim I need a real one) was built by the same company that built the engine in your car! Isn't that bloody amazing? One last thing...I have to do everything I do on my own. I didn't have the luxury of inheriting a turbocharged sports car. Get a clue, pal. If you don't like Prizms then so be it. Don't waste your time and mine by bothering to look at something you find so distasteful then comment upon things you obviously know less than nothing about. Have a nice day!
Good choice in Supra. I'm partial to the MKIII. By the way, i have the same engine as you do and it is not a 2.5 liter. Thats the 1jz. you have the 1G-GTE. Its a 2.0 liter, 230 hp engine. Anyway, good looking supra, man. Check mine out sometime.
