These are the first pictures of the power plant going in to the car. It is a 347 cu in stroker motor. completely balanced, and ready to go with 10.5:1 compression, Edelbrock heads mildly ported with new valves, and roller rockers. Big cam, .582/.562 split lift, .282/.262 split duration roller Comp Cam designed for nitrous. Melling high volume oil pump, Moroso 7 quart oil pan, Keith Black pistons, H-beam rods, Edelbrock Victor intake, NX direct port spacer system, BBK 80mm throttle body. Fluid Damper balancer, Weiand polished water pump, custom made Taylor wires to see later...Professionally built by Frank Harris of Frank's High Performance Hardware in Arlington, VA. Centerforce clutch, and Tremac TKO 500 trans is being bolted to it.

This car is a lot of fun....

SO...during the build I went a bit further than expected. I ended up installing a tubular front end, and upgrading nearly everything as I went along. I have yet to have it tuned, but it runs like a beast.

Here are some more recent pics of the engine bay. I'm getting there. More little things all the time.
