Update 10/14/05: Well, I've pretty much stopped working on my '93 and put all effort into my '89. This round of buildups is nearly complete and so far I have: Dana 60 front with a limited slip, 14 bolt rear with a detroit, 4.56 gears, 39.5" boggers, 350/700R4/NP241, Warn 8274 winch, workin on on board air, custom home brew shock setups, about 6" of suspension lift, a dovetailed rearend, front axle relocated 1.5" forward, and a whole bunch of other stuff that I can't think of right now. No real carnage yet, I'm headed to an off road park on the 22nd to see what it can do.
This is the latest picture. It now has Ultra rims, new BFG's in front, minor fender trimming, a '98 Chevy grille (with new inserts and lamps), projector headlights, fog lights, and chrome plated plastic (HA!) KC Daylighter covers. Tell me what you think in the guestbook please.
This is my pride and joy. It's a '93 Chevy Fullsize Blazer. I'll admit, I did buy it with the lift already installed, but it would have happened anyway. The lift is a 4" Trailmaster system. The rims are American Racing Outlaw 2's wrapped with 33x12.50R15 BFG All Terrains. Everything that's been done to my truck so far I've done with the help of a few friends. I don't take pictures during installs because I'm busy INSTALLING shit. If you have any questions just e-mail me and I'll answer you within a couple of days.
Just a few pictures before I clean up. I live in kind of a rich neighborhood so watching everybody's jaw drop when I come home is great fun.
Probably the only picture you'll ever see of me. What you didn't see is that after taking this shot the back of my shirt and jeans were completely brown and black. And of course, as you can see, I'm a fricken giant. Sometimes we take the yellow car in the background mudding too. 4400 pounds, bald tires, and soft ground make a pretty funny mixture
Now all I need are light covers that say MOVE BITCH.
First pics in my driveway, I swear I stood there for 3 hours.
My two best pictures. The color combo is maroon and light gold. It looks awesome in the sun.
A vast improvement but there's still a little work to be done.
