    I like your mav, it very nice. I have a 73 for sale, its black with gold trim, and i kep the side molding, check it out at jci cortez...later

    Fine looking car! Original colour is nice and suits it. For a totally new look would suggest Black above the moldings and Charcoal Grey below.

    your car looks great!!to be honest, i usually dispise the side moldings, but in your case i have to say they really look good.My suggestion is to go with the original color just get whoever is going to mix your paint to add a little more metal flake.then when you paint it, put a significant amount of clearcoat. Definetly LEAVE THE MOLDINGS!! That would look superb, oh check out my car if you get a chance!!
