Suzi was sold...1 year later the owner wanted to sell it back for the same amount he bought it for (he used it like a truck), I basically told him to go to hell. It was recently spotted by my Girlfriend looking like it had been hit in the side...
...this page will stay up as a tribute to the toughest most fun car I have had yet to date.
Still playing off of the "Rally" theme I have added a roof scoop, changed the graphics, and gone a bit different with the lights.
I have also purchased a lot of touch up paint in the spray cans and done some painting. These include the ventvisors, mirrors, rear spoiler, headlight trim, and upper bumper cover. I have also done some custom painting of the taillights / center panel.
This shot shows the lowered stance. This was achieved with a set of Intrax 1.75" sport lowering springs and KYB struts all around. These together have given her some excellent handling. She could still use a set of sway bars though.
Her's some new shots of the interior. I ditched the big tachometer for an NOS gauge cluster w/ tach bought off of Ebay. I have also done some custom painting to match the exterior...just enough to tie the inside and outside together, but not too much. Yep, the Grant wheel and those custom installed gauges are still there.
I have added front and rear seats from a '91 LSi and also added the rear cargo cover. I picked them all up at the salvage yard and they all cleaned up like new. Those seats are so much more comfortable and look much better than the ones it came with.
Intrax springs, KYB struts, K & N filter, 2" upgraded exhaust with Dynomax Super Turbo muffler, Grant steering wheel, APC lights, and yes I run Mobil 1 oil.
Here is a close up of the custom installed driving lights. I measured and cut out the holes and mounted the lights behind the bumper cover. The Hellas were just added and have yet to be hooked up. All my lighting including the headlights are Silverstar by Sylvania.
Here's the motivation. All aluminum, 1.0 liter, fuel injected, OHC inline 3 cyl. K & N air filter, custom modified APC cold air intake, NGK V-Power plugs, Perfection clutch, 2" exhaust w/ Dynomax Super Turbo muffler. Not the fastest thing around but can definately get it moving in a hurry, there's a 2.2 S-10 Xtreme that can attest to that...lol.
