thats my 2000 Wrangler ... I've got pics below with some of the many mods ive done to it... Its a jeep thing.. you wouldnt understand!
the first thing i did was get rid of those ugly ass decals and replace them with new Carbon Fiber ones. Plus i added a new Rubicon Decal on the side.
this is a pic of the new bushwacker body armor i got. And we cant forget the "Got Mud?" decal on the bumper... something no jeep should be with out!
Here you can get a better look at the SmittyBuilt front bumper i put on about 8 months ago.. im the kind of guy who really doesnt care if it gets scratched or banged up .. because my dad always said "theres 2 kinda of car owners. people who drive them and people who own them" people who own them just let them sit and say "wow it looks pretty!" people who drive their cars, like me, use the car to its full extent. so yes i DRIVE a Jeep Rubicon!
Here you can see the Carbon Fiber Spider i put on the hood.. you can also see the Grille inserts i installed also... makes the jeep have that custom look.
Those are the new KC offroading light i got for my birthday last year from my dad... those things are amazing... i would highly recomend to the avid offroader!
this is the best part of my Rubi ... The H2 Recovery Team Decal!! Everyone who reads it gets a good smile and a laugh out of it! but its very true.. all an H2 is, is a glorified family sedan!! no one in their right mind would take that thing muddin'
thats another good picture of the spider on the hood.
Now on to the interior. Its pretty much all stock with the exception of some minor mods.
thats my indash DVD player with the 7 inch flip out LCD screen.. its pretty cool.
thats a good side profile of it.. that center bezel i had painted to match the color of the outside of the car.
thats what it looks like when the lcd isnt out. i also installed a few custom LED lights in the air vents and under the seats. you cant see any wires from any lights so its a cleanly done job and i think the lights in the vents are prety cool looking haha.
now on to the sound system. Those are polk audio speakers i installed in the sound bar. I dont have a picture of it (because you cannot see them) but i also installed infiniti speakers in the front. i just wanted something with clear sound thats why i went with that combo.
Everyone who drives a jeep knows were always limited for space, and when your trying to install subs, its near impossible to find a box that will fit with out removing your back seat. thats why i went with an Audiobahn Bass Cylinder. its only a 10 inch but it hits alot harder then most people think! plus in a jeep theres no windows so in turn there is no rattling or vibration noise anywhere... just solid, deep, bass!
This is the third brake light.. i put on a decal so that when you hit the breaks, it lights up "JEEP"
I was pressed for money so when i got new tires i only went with 31x10.5x15 because with out a lift, thats the biggest you can go without rubbing.
Those are the new rims ive put on there. There 6 spoked american racing rims and basicly the only reason i put them on was because they are almost exactly the same color as the Rubi!
heres a closer picture of the carbon fiber decals ive put on.
i replaced those crappy headlights with new Wagner Halogen headlights.. they really light up the trails alot better... they have really nice wide angle lighting.. it helps so much when your muddin
another picture of the window decal and my Hood scoop haha.. its accually helpful, makes the a/c colder and helps the motor run cooler
thats a pic of the Air intake ive installed.. thats got to be the one mod i would suggest to get first.. it give your Jeep that deep growl when you hit the gas!
this is proof that i DRIVE my jeep.. this was taken out in Cape Coral Fl in a place called the Ucapan.. its MILES AND MILES of muddin trails.. this one time in particular, i had my friend steven in the passanger seat, my gf and his gf in the back seat.. so i was pretty weighted down and it was at night and i didnt see how deep it was! so yes i got stuck pretty bad.. this pic is from the day after. i had to leave it out there overnight and had to walk back close to a mile to the nearest road hah.. it sucked
during this muddin time, i managed to break my clutch. and had to call an Extreme Towing Company to come get me out.. wait till you see what they came with!
you can see my gf's dad and friend in front trying to figure out how were gettin out of this one haha.. its not happening.
yeah.. thats what had to come and pull me out.. the only person for hundreds of miles who does extreme recovery for muddin people like me =)
As i was being towed out of the mud i took a quick pic lol
thats my and my gf in the car climbing a hill with some of my buddies.
Me And my friend Brian at a gas station fueling up and gettin ready for the offroad trails!
