This is how Fiona looks like today, been more than 3 years...the list of mods is extensive...too many to list..anyway just an update, a major power upgrade under the hood, new bodykit, new spoiler, new paint, new rims, new brakes, new exhaust, new sound system, new interior and exterior lighting system, new sports seats, new leather panels ...etc
These few pages will depict and describe the transformations my ride has gone through from the day I took over "FIONA"
From bone shakey stinky stock to GLAMOUR PUSS !!!
The concept of the mod was to restore as much of the car as possible(as deep as my pockets allow), to ensure drivability, reliability, mod performance to street, install In car entertainment, all these at the same to regain the timeless classic look of the NA miata!!!
This pic shows how Fiona looks like before the start of restoration, don't be fulled by the picture, she was actually in horrid shape and not too glamourous at all.

Transfer of ownership!
Car passed workshop's inspection tests and is in good condition.
Paint job is really bad, previous owner parked car very often in the sun, resulting lots of colour fading off the mariner blue paint. "Fiona" was full of scratches, dents, leaking vinyl soft top, creaky, noisy engine...etc "FIONA" was also mainly stock except wearing, cheapo rims.
June 2005
Custom paint n repair job using BMW paint "Pur Blau Metallic". Its a metallic blue paint that is blue and purple under different light conditions, matches well with the custom blue, black leather interior I got.
Soft top replaced, with canvas fabric 3 layer top with new rain rail, glass window with heater and custom switch.
Brake discs machined, engine mount replaced, gear bushings replaced, power window replaced, aircon reconditioned, door rubber seals replaced. Minor overhaul.

In-car entertainment
3 weeks of planning, 2 weeks of installation
Pioneer head unit, DLS components, Mohawk cabling, Custom boot with 3 Lightning Audio BOLT amps , stealth 8" ROCKFORD FORSGATE sub enclosure, 2 bass shaker pro transducers, mini capacitor/fusebox n more...
This was followed by 2 weeks of audio tuning/sound staging to my liking.
Sound quality is there, top up, and top down, bass kicks!!!
New white driving lights, PIVOT Engine Start button
Link Engine Management System, full ECU replacement, dyno and road tuned by a local race team/workshop.
New brake pads all around

Stock MOMO steering wheel swapped to MOMO tuner, 350mm, silver version!
