Update 7: Just got back one of the pictures from the Moncton Atlantic Nationals car show trip and now I am going to start a car show part of my page to show the type of cool events we have here in Atlantic Canada. Its small for now but it will grow come the spring.

Update 6: October 27- I just add my video page, I just have a clip of the cars sound for now but MORE TO COME!

Update 5: The car has been put away for the winter now again and I am getting restless to drive it but ill have to wait until the winter has passed. About the pictures of the Moncton car show, I actually took some but my memory card wiped itself for some reason so have to wait for next year. The show was a great time and only a couple of things went wrong, one was that I have no AC because I am not equipped with it and they were all 30 degree (celcius) days and because of this my headliner fell down. The 27 year old glue could not handle it anymore, but other than that I had a great time. My friend from saint john also came down to the show in his 82 gt Mustang and he took in the show as well. Also finally I found the heritage of my Cobra and man was I surprised. It started its life out as a White 4 cylinder Turbo Cobra with a manual trans and you can now see its gone a long way from that. I have some plans for the car this winter like finally new rear springs and a 5 speed manual out of a 92 donor mustang to put in and when I get back home to do it ill keep the site updated.

Update 4: Well its that time of year again and I'm going to the Atlantic Nations Car show in Moncton New Brunswick Canada. The big difference this year is that I'm driving the Cobra down to the show, its not being entered but it is going to be shown off. I will take lots of pictures and post them up next week. The show by the way is every July weekend from the 12 to the 15, it is a great time and if you have any spare time at all I urge you to come down and have a great weekend.

Update 3: I finally put up the new pics of the car and redesigned my page enjoy.

Update 2: Well finally the Cobra is out of hiding from the winter and roaring to life again. Since the winter has passed I havent really done much to the car other than new BF TA's all the way around and fixing the camber on the steering, and done your other regular maintenance to the car such as changing the fluids and doing the post winter checks. Another thing is that I have finally covered the sub box in the regular black carpet material that is regularly found on them and what a difference it has made. I have pics and will add them when I get some time.

Update: Well the car has been put up for the year now and will return to the streets a better working monster in the spring. The plan's I have for the car have been all lined up, first I am ordering subframe connectors to strengthen up the car, then I am installing a four speed manual I took from a donor Mustang and after that im getting the back half of the car painted and detailed. When thats all done I am doing some work to the interior like a new dash and carpet and maybe if I have the money racing seats will get installed. If anyone has suggestions for me just leave a comment and I will get back to you, thanks.

History, Exterior and Engine

This is my 1980 Mustang Cobra. It has a 302 V8 with Headman Headers, dual exhaust, Accel SuperCoil ignition, racing cam, and Chrome air cleaner and valve covers.

I bought this car MYSELF and with my own money when I was 15 and have been working on it ever since. So far I have redone the front and rear brake lines, rear drums, front discs, rear shocks, gas tank and lines, and all the engine seals and most lines. The body was in rough shape when I got it but NO RUST was on it. I also added SERIES 320 Quick Trick I wheels. My Father and I have done all the work except for the body work. I had it repainted in the same color it was in when I got it at a local body shop. Here are some pics of the car before all the work was done.

Heres me when I first got the Cobra. Man was I happy.

Heres the body damage before it was fixed. It was just cosmetic damage and no reshaping was needed.

One of the neighborhood kids checkin out the car when I got it.

Here are some new pics of the engine. Like I said above its a Ford 302 V8 with headers, Accel ignition chrome pieces and more to come.

Heres a pic of the car in the garage in 2006.

The car is still a big project in my life and I will keep this updated as I add parts.
