After re-building the rear suspension before

My dad first bought this car in 1964. It is a 64 galaxie 500 with the 390 FE big block, three speed cruisomatic. It has around 87,000 miles on it and that number keeps getting higher because i drive it. im proud of that fact. if you own a hot car you gotta drive it. this is what it looked like

he also owned this car at the same time which he bought in 1956

i got my first car when i turned 17, this is it.

I drove that for a while, but there was always that galaxie lurking in our drive way. my dad passed away when i was younger and the car sat unused and dripping fluids. i didnt want it to sit anymore so i took it upon myself to update it.
i started out by driving it, getting the motor running reliably, or at least as reliable as possible. after a few hundred miles things started to show their age. the suspension is still untouched, but the motor has been focused on the most.

I put in a new holley fuel pump, msd billet distributor, demon carb, but i only went with a 625 because i want to save gas. its not a quick car by any means because of the size and weight. i swapped out the old generator for an alternator. I also added these nice american racing torque thrust IIs. other than that i havent changed it much. I take it to the goodguys car shows in pleasanton alot.

I'll get more pictures of it soon. thanks for checkin out my page
I have stopped putting money into the Galaxie because i just bought this beauty

its an 07 Mustang GT Deluxe with custom options. everything is all factory and its great. interior upgrade, charcoal aluminum dash panel, leath dash brow, premier trim package with gt 500 racing pedals
