I'm in the US Navy stationed here in Iceland. This is our 05' Grand Cherokee equipped with the optional Hemi. We were fortunate enough to be able to buy it through a military car sales program, have it shipped here, and save a bundle. It's got every available option (navigation, rear parking sensors, factory chrome clad rims, uconnect,etc) except the rear dvd system. So far, I have had the mirrors, rockers, and front cowl painted. Had a custom 3" Borla exhaust installed, AirRaid intake, and upgraded the tires to Nitto Terra Grappler 275/60/R17's. We also had the Passport SR7 radar/laser detector installed (it's got the sensors mounted inside the front grille and above the rear licsense plate). Speeding tickets are ridiculously expensive here, and the cops have pretty high-tech equipment.

This is me getting over a poorly constructed barrier attempting to prevent me from wheeling in my favorite spot, the "Black Sands Beach." During July and August of 05', Clint Eastwood and Speilburg were filming one of their new movies, and the Icelandic authorities of course tried to close the beach. Better luck next time guys.

I'm hoping that some kind of lift will be offered soon. I've heard of a company called Daystar?, but don't know where to find the lift for the WK Grand Cherokee. I have seen pics of the AEV Mojave Edition, but no pricing info. And it seems pretty extensive. If anyone out there can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
