WHEELS...

The wheels are 17 X 7 Sacchi S25s with Kumho Ecsta AST tires. Pretty decent tire for the money. I prefer my old General Exclaim UHPs to these. Hydroplane resistance is ok at best and dry traction is above average. Check out the reviews at Tirerack.com... Seeing that these have just about lost enough tread to warrant getting new tires, I'm looking at the General Altimax HP as a replacement for these. Rated best in All season touring tire...General Altimax HP
For now the calipers have been painted silver with Duplicolor's caliper kit. I currently have rear brake drums. I would like to do a rear disc conversion and upgrade the rotors with slotted and/or cross-drilled Brembos. New brake lines are in order as well...

SUSPENSION...
__________________________________________________________________________________
My suspension consists of a Tokico Illumina 5-way adjustable shocks and Eibach Ground Control Coilovers. (not yet photographed) The Tokico Illuminas allow for the tuning of shock dampening/stiffness and the Eibach Ground Controls allow for ride height adjustments. Also included are Omni Power's front and rear camber kits. (not yet photographed) Just recently had a new rack and pinion installed along with inner and outer tierods. The old one was leaking powersteering fluid and I had major play in the toe adjustment of each front wheel. Steering is firm once again and inspires much more confidence; steering response is immediate...
Here are the front and rear adjustment dials conveniently located at the top of each suspension mount. Changes are easily made with a small key provided with the set. Available settings are 1-5, "1" being the softest and "5" being the stiffest. I keep it on "1" 99% of the time for daily driving. It actually rides softer than my old OEM shocks. Though not as prominent as with the OEMs, you get quite a bit of drift and body lean, as expected on a soft setting. On the other hand, I like "4" when I want to have a little fun. Steering response is much quicker and body roll is reduced to a minimum. "5" seems a little too restrictive and bouncy so I prefer the "4" setting...
You have to pull back the wheel well carpeting to reach the rear adjustment dial...(right pic)
Closeup of suspension... I will be upgrading to adjustable coilovers soon for a lower ride height. 1.5 isn't quite low enough for my tastes....Yeah I know it's dirty :-) I'll try to get some better pics later. I just didn't feel like cleaning everything and taking the wheels off... (new pics soon!!)
And this is how the Tokico's sit. Like I mentioned up top, I'll be dropping it more soon on coilovers...

Photochops of how I want it to sit when I get the adjustable coilovers on. Suspension will be raked. Looks so much better...
Definitely looking forward to that...
