This is my 1965 Mustang Coupe.

This car was ordered from a cataloge in 1965 by my grandfather. It has been in my family since that time.

I got it about three years ago in this condition:

With some help from family I first got the old engine running (a 1973 302 engine that still ran.) That's about all the good I can say though.

After almost two years of tinkering and playing I broke down and replaced the engine and rebuilt the C4.

302 with ~350hp

Then I replaced/upgraded the front end with new disc brakes and all new suspension/sway bar components. Rebuilt the rear brakes/suspension.

Then I replaced the original heat and A/C
(long since removed) with an aftermarket system, installed some new under-dash gauges, and a shelby style hood,Fog lamps, Xenon head lamps, LED sequential turn signals front/rear. 66 style grill and corral and rewired the entire car with a "painless wiring system." Dropped the front end just over 1" by lowering the UCAs and shorter coil springs

My most recent project is a trip to paint/body where the car just returned from

Welcome to the Domain. Great job on the paint work. Bare metal to paint isn't the most fun way to go but the results in the surface coats show. Keep up the great work. Check out my '57 GMC sometime.
