I just recently started on my winter project. Srping feaver has hit me and i want to have my car alot farther than it is now. I just bought the car mid fall and put it away from the snow. Recently i have started to put the hours into it. It is an 1985 SVO Ford Mustang. I was suprised to find one for sale and with only 29,xxx original miles on it. there are only a few things wrong with the car other then the nasty sage green aka (ninja turtle green) faded paint. it needs some new fluids throughout, new belts, some new wire loom and probably sum new plugs and wire.

The Exterior is in excellent shape except for where the paint has faded, it even still has the original protective coat on the underbody and not a spot of rust. Im going to be sending it in for the body work here in the next week or so. im going to have the doors, locks, antenna shaved. im going to then have it painted a platnum looking silver.

The engine on the SVO was an engine ahead of its time it is a 2.3L turbo. The turbo is a T3 and runs at 14psi with a top mount air intercooler. i plan on spending time this summer under the hood converting to a front mount intercooler and maybe a T3/4 conversion.

I am in the process of installing my audio system. im working on the desighn of a enclsure for three 12" kicker L7s off my kicker 2500.1 i will add pictures as work progresses. so far all i have done is the panels and trim striped off to apply my silencer over the entire car. I have recently intalled the python 881xp alarm/remote start w/ turbo timer. the alarm is sweet with a 1/4 mile range and LCD display. It was my first alarm remote start i have installed and into a manual tran, but i work at circuit city selling car audio and had some pointers and tips.
