The first drawing is a picture I did after I had started this project. The drawing with the girl is my latest of the car and should be very close to what it'll look like. The stock II is what the car looked like before I started (minus the rust it had).
Follow pictures show the changes I've made to the sheetmetal of the car. All metal work has been butt welded. I've made the following changes;
Added subframe connectors
Added a lower cage structure to strengthen the chassis
Removed the roof and covered the back seat area.
Changed the tail lights size
Modified a 68' mustang back bumper to fit
Added modified 1967-68 mustang lower back quarter panels to work with a 67-68' mustang back valance
Re-shaped the rear inner fenders for more clearance
Added new back flares
Removed the spare tire well in the trunk.
Moved the firewall back ten inches for engine set back
Dropped the cowl down to fit under the fiberglass hood.
Here is my II when I first started on it, at this point I had added the sub-frame connectors, installed the roll cage and have removed all the paint.

these pictures show the lower back quarter panels reworked to fit the 68' mustang back valance panel. Also shown is the metal fender flares that are welded in.

Here are pictures of the firewall I moved back 10 inches. My plan is to set the engine back 8 inches from the stock location for a better front to back weight transfer. These pictures also show the cowl that I lowered since my hood covers that area and run from the nose to the windshield.

Both doors have had the top openings filled and a 1968 mustang dash is now in the car.

One day I had a guy at work tell me he had a back cafe' deck lid off a Miata for sale. After a quick mock-up on the roadster, I bought it and cut the top of the roll cage off so I could mount it onto the car. I think it cleaned up the lines of the car.
