This is a Direct Connection B&M Supercharger. This is the second style supercharger(66CI) that was produced by B&M Performance. The first style that was produced was an 88CI blower which had an oil feed&return line so it took a little longer trying to install it and required drilling into the oil pan for the oil lines. I won this kit on eBay for $900. The kit was missing the carb adapter plate. Easy for a machine shop to make. If you have any ideas or tech info that i should know or consider please feel free to message me.

I got the weber 38 and am running that on the turismo right now. It's soo much more aggressive then the holley. feels like i gained 25hp at least. My gas gauge drops a lot faster also. The fun part is being able to turn the tires a lot easier.

I had to do a little modification to make the weber throttle pull the correct direction. my solution:    As you can see i took the throttle lever off a scrap holley and placed it on the weber. i had to do a little grinding. a few test drives to get the right pull over angle on it. to sharp/quick of a pull over means instant acceleration and undesired burnouts. i had to make a few adjustments to the cable aswell. i broke the U-connector piece that slides on the lever so i used some wire and fed it through a tinny hole on the cable and just wraped it around the lever. It's been driving for a while now and no problems yet. 25yrs old somthings goin to break.

THE BAD:

J5150T's 1984 Plymouth Turismo

Finalley got the Supercharger installed. ran great the first day. didnt have a A/F meter on so i'm not sure how great it ran. anyways the second day of driving and i hit the highway and about 4miles away from work white smoke started pouring out of the dipstick tube and the crankcase breather tube on the back of the valvecover. did a compression check and found #2 to be at 50psi. #1-3 were at about 125psi and #4 was at 175psi.. not good. i took the head off and found a hole in #2piston. not good at all. i'm waiting for new pistons. i got the rings and a double thickness cometic gasket that will lower the compression to 8.5:1. I was running the stock pulley and stock jets in the weber. just found out that i need a fuel regulator for the weber. it runs at 3psi. the fuel pump pushes 7psi. that why i had excess fuel coming through the carb gasket. i'm goin to install the MSD boost timing master, Turbo Unleashed A/F meter and try and get a boost gauge before i take off. I'm leaving for iraq very soon and want this thing to run before i leave. i'm supposed to get the pistons next week. should get the 2.2L runing by next mon. in the future i'll hook up the Spearco Water Injection Kit with the use of a boost trip switch instead of the temp trip switch it runs off. that way it will start pumping after it hits a certain amount of boost rather then at 85degrees.

Brand New B&M Supercharger & Intake Manifold. Just got this one from ebay. As you can see it has a different end plate. This one uses 4 same length bolts on top. The old one has the 2 short bolts for the end which are a pain to tighten down with the area its in. This blower has never been used. The guy purchased it new from B&M a long time ago and just found it in his garage or closet. He had no idea what type of vehicle the manifold is for. he only purchased it for the blower but B&M sold him the blower and manifold together.
