Owned this car for 12 years. It has gone through many, many, changes. Body was stripped to the metal and painted in pieces. The body panels and the floors are all original pieces and rust free.

Car was originally a 6 cylinder and was light blue with a blue interior. I have added the vinyl top and all the exterior trim. It started as a no option base Nova.

Engine is a rebuilt 396(402) out of a 71 Chevelle SS. Trans is a TH350 and the rear is a stock 10-bolt.

Future plans include a brake upgrade, possibly 4 wheel discs.

This car is a 4 time Super Chevy Show class winner.

Nice Nova! I love the plain sleeper look with the dog dish hub caps. Do you have power drums? I had power drums and converted to front disc a few years back. What a difference. Someday maybe I'll do the back as well. One bit of advice I have is that you might want to use a different fuel filter. I had the same type on mine until it started leaking while I was driving one day (the threads that hold it together got stripped somehow). Luckily I got it shut off in time before any gas got onto the headers. I replaced it with a see through plastic type that doesn't come apart. Check my 71 out sometime.
