“TD Tub”

Well, you've all heard about finding classic cars in barns, here's one I found in my own barn.

It's a 1965 Porsche 356SC that I bought in 1975 for the princely sum of $600. I ran it every summer for 8 years and had lots of fun with it, but then it was consigned to jack stands in the barn.
Now, after it's 23 years aslumber, I will be using this page to tell the tale of my attempt to bring the old tub back to life.

A word of CAUTION: To all those whose sensibilities run along the strict originality vein, it might be best to leave now, as I believe you're not going to like what I've got planned for the old girl --

Wow, that's quite the project you've got going. I can't wait to see the finished project. And I don't fault you for customizing a 356; in my mind they don't look that great stock anyway. Check out my page; I've got my 63 VW crewcab and my dad's '65 356C just like yours, only stock.
