This is my 1977 Monte Carlo, Landau Edition. Everything on the car is original: the paint (virtually spotless), interior (spotless), engine, vinyl top...the only changes are these: The first owner took off the catalytic converter, and put on a glasspack, which sounds great. I am an audiophile, so i had to upgrade the stereo system...see page 3.

I got it before i had my driver's license, and have driven it ever since. Although it was my daily driver in high school, i never drove it in the snow or salt, and neither did the first owner, the guy i bought it from. (He also gave me the original window sticker, brochure, and owner's manual, pictured -->>) Thus, is rust-free, and has less than 30,000 miles on the original 350 4bbl motor.
Right now, she runs perfectly, and coasts down the road real nice for cruises. It's not a real fast car: this is when they were putting lower power, big engines in big heavy cars. IF i ever get the money (which probably won't be for a while, te way things are going), i'd go with a new holley carb, edelbrock intake, dual exhaust probably with headers, comp cam, 3.73 rearend gears and a posi, new tires, new suspension components, some good disc brakes all around, ignition, and maybe some heads, to start...

Of course, all this takes money i don't have. Plus, i kinda want to keep it original. Right now, i'm pretty satisfied with keeping it super clean, and cruising and entering it in car shows.

Well, hope you like it...let me know what you think in the guestbook, and don't forget to vote in the poll or for the car (help me get back up to 5 stars!)! Enjoy the pics on the next pages too!
