I SOLD THIS TRUCK...I NOW HAVE A 1998 KIA SEPHIA
I am working on a 1988 Toyota pickup (2WD). My truck is in good condition compaired to some I have seen. I am having trouble because a lot of the aftermarket parts that I want, such as euro tail lenses, are not made for this year.
I have put custom carpet behind the seat. I replaced the Pyramid Hyper Pros with some Digital Audio 10's (an AudioBahn company) in Boxes custom built for my truck. I will have pics of my new speakers whenever I fix my digital camera. I tucked a Pyramid Reno Series 600 watt (2 channel) amp under the seat.
I finally installed my Sony CD player (40x4). I will also have pics of it soon. Here is my DHD Power Cruiser chrome electronic crossover.
I have installed two 4" Legacy two way speakers in the stock dash mounts.
I replaced the stock pedals with some racing pedals.
I also replaced the stock shifter knob with a chrome/black racing shifter. I like it but it gets really hot in the sun.
I am getting ready to sand the truck and paint it. I dont know what color to paint it, but I think red would be cool (without the tan stickers). I am also about ready to get a new muffler. My old one rusted and fell off. I am planning to clean up the engine just a bit too.
The truck did not have good side mirrors on it, so I installed the euro mirrors in the picture below. I also installed custom windsheild wiper arms which are also visible in the picture below.

I have done a lot of other improvements to the truck also. I replaced a broken dash piece, installed a new antenna, installed tag lights, and installed a new clutch, pressure plate, and throughout baring.
