This is one of my other G Body Oldsmobile. Its a rare FE3-X car, given the nickname of Darth Vader. It is the son of the Original Darth Vader car which is in the RE Olds museum. In front of the car is the Oldsmobile designer who headed up the FE3-X project Bill Porterfield. This picture was taken at the 2005 Hurst Olds Nationals, and Bill was kind enough to sign the dash of my FE3X at the event, and take a spin in the car. He said the car brought back alot of good memories for him. Bill was also the one who was in charge of the Oldsmobile Aerotech project that broke numerous speed records.

The FE3-X was the proposed platform for the 1985 Hurst/ Olds. Unfourtunately these cars never went into production. The original is in the RE Olds Mueseum in Lansing , Michigan. The car was featured in 3 car magazine publications in the 80's, above is one of them
