Update!!! As of January 15 2004 I am about two-three days from getting my 6 on the road. It has a new tranny, lots of detailing, new system, boost and A/F gauges, and lots of elbow grease. Read up on my saga with my 6 on this page, and stay tuned for some new picts.
Welcome! This is my MX-6 Gt page. I have a love hate relationship with this car.
The story-
Bought the car from an impound lot when my friend couldn't afford to get it out. I new it was going to be needing a turbo, so no suprise when it blew two days later. A month later I had a re-built turbo on it. **not too bad but it gets better
It smoked like crazy with the new turbo. I guess it was all the oil that the old one was blowing by. After about 30 minutes of running it stoped. It pulled hard from 2000rpm and was a blast. I let the guy I bought it from drive it and he came back with a big smile. **don't be scared Sponge Bob**
Now it started pulling to the right really bad. No big deal a $750 car, what do you expect. I took it to a alignment shop and they said I needed two new front control arms! I think they said something like $1200 for the parts and work. HA! I let it sit for a month. **Got boost? yes I do, but no steering!**
