::This is the Start::
so here is the first pattern that I cut out.
I had my son over so he helped me on this project.
him sitting on board while I'm cutting it, and me curving corner
Put it together and set it in the tahoe and check
started to place where everything will go with cardboard
then realized, forgot to put where GPS goes so redid.
and this what it looks like final where everything gonna go.
:: Aug 21::
I used the pattern that I made to make the box for switch and remote portion, and also mounted and test it.
then noticed that I need to make space between the GPS to switch box more. so I moved it a little
then put old t-shirts over
hopefully put resins on this afternoon.
::Aug 25th::
more done today
resin is on, made cup holder, door for compartment,
lower tray.
::Aug 26th::
lot done.
front bottom resin, rear.
rear stapled
rear resin done
:: Aug 29th::
little bondo on the where all stuff goes in,
sanded. sprayed primer on it.
still have to hand sand for perfect curve etc.
::Aug 30::
little more bondo and sanding work. much smoother curves now.
:: Sept 1::
finally did a lot add compartment door, top part are painted.
line for gauge extended, everything wired in,
everything in perfectly, and everything is easy to view while driving, and easy to control.
