One of the first things I did was get a hold of a set of '99-'00 SiR rims, (SiR in Canada is the Si in the US). The tires that they came with were a terrible set of Firestones. I had to get a hold of something else, so I started looking. I found a pair of used Toyo Proxy FZ-4 205/55/15 with nearly 90% tread still left on them.
...and the Toyo's....
Since the rims would let everyone see what's stopping this thing, I decided that I better get something that looked a little better, and most importantly, stopped better. I picked up a pair of KVR Cross-Drilled Rotors & Carbon Fiber Pads. Not only does it make the wheels looked better, it stops better too. Here's what it looked like before I painted the discs and calipers. You can see the rust around the discs.
And after the black paint.
