This is my 1974 Datsun 260Z. I bought the car in december of 1977 and it's been a pleasure to own and drive ever since. The car went through a major overhaul starting in 1999 and finally seeing the road again in 2003. I started by tearing the body down until it was nothing more than a set of wheels, a floor and a roof. After repairing and replacing all of the innerfenders, fenders and quarter pannels the doors, hatch lid and hood were fitted and the car was painted a bright red. I modified the front bumper by depressing the shock, welding it down and removing the plastic extension piece that fits in front of the wheel. The rear bumper is waiting in the garage for the same to be done to it.

Performance has been an ongoing project since I've owned the car. I've replaced the stock cam andwent with the E31 head for it's higher compression and larger valves. Headers are matched to a full 2.5" exhaust.

I found the tripple Webber carbs sitting in an abandoned 240Z and without hesitation grabbed them for myself.
The only suspension modifications to date are stiffer 2+2 springs and heavier shocks.

Recently I've found a 1982 280ZX TURBO and am planning to put it's motor and 5 spd transmission in.
