Theory:

The 7th Gen Accord has LED soldered to the circuit and its hard to change the bulbs. I thought if we add a blue tint behind the gauges, it will give nice results and will be cheaper and easier.

Please be careful when doing this. Dont blame me if you break something while doing it. I tried to be as precise as I can but might have forgot something. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions.

Page 1> Removing the speedometer
Page 2> Deassembling the Speedometer
Page 3> Applying the Film
Page 4> Applying Film to the CD Player Screen

Tools:

1. Philips Screw Driver
2. Blade
3. Scissors
4. Rubber or latex gloves
5. Lots of Patience
6. High temprature blue film(seller's email paperstplastics@aol.com , Ebay Item number 7304281645) If you cannot find this seller, just search for "High Temprature Gel Sheets" on Ebay or try your local Stage lighting or Hardware store.

Removing the Speedometer

Lets start by removing the gauges assembly. Remove the 2 screws on top of the speedometer.

Gently pull the cover out. There are 2 clips holding it from the inside on the bottom

Remove the connector and pipe the right side of the cover and completely remove it.

Now remove the 2 screws from the bottom

One screw from the top

Unplug the Green connector from the Gauges and gently pull out the whole assembly

Dude! That is a great idea and it is really cool how you have shown all the steps in doing that to get the blue lights in the dash and stereo. I rated you up and I am going to try a convince the old lady to let me do that to her 06 accord
