9/26/2006: Something crunched on my way home from Raising Cane's last night. Still trying to get it towed home. I'll update when I find out what went wrong.

10/30/2006: The engine is sold and will be picked up in the next week. The transmission equipment is also claimed. This build up was a blast, but something wasn't right and it was slaughtering performance.

I have a new drivetrain lined up, but it may be as long as a year before I even get to start. I'll keep you all posted, for sure. Until then, feel free to check out the Samurai build-up that will be added to my profile in the next week or so.

12/6/2006: This car is indefinitely out of commission. It was a fun build, but it's time to move on. Thanks for following, guys.

Of all the vehicles displayed on Cardomain, this is definitely one of the projects I respect the most. I wish you the best of luck. I cant wait to see this thing done. Shift handle? Id go with a classic T-Handle. Keep up the awesome work.

Good updates. Have you considered adding a page that chronicles the T-5 swap or are you just counting on people going to see it on Fordforums?

Also, is the 3.73 you're going to put in a limited slip or open?

Your '89 sure looks nice and I'm grateful to you for the advice you've given me on fordforums (I go by Nathan in MN over there). Your car basically symbolizes all the stuff I'd like to do on my car.

Good luck with whatever you do to it in the future.

Nathan
