This is a 1.3 Proton Compact Duo with a modified styling kit, modified front bumper, quad dtm style straight through exhaust system, flushed and smoothed rear tailgate. Tinted windows.

that smooth tailgate.

custom made headlight browes. standard front bumper chopped about a bit and meshed up with a valance added.

lowered 40mm on gas suspension. 16" matrix alloys. cant see how 17" wheels would comfortably fit. they would, but i reckon it would upset the handling, and at the moment it drives just like a go kart!

1x 15" 1000w audiobahn sub in large braced custom enclosure. (2.5cu ft)
1000w rms kenwood amp
600w rms boshman amp
900w rms jackson amp
cooling fans on all amps
deep cycle battery and 1.0 farad cap
zero guage cabling and resistors
4-5 rolls of loft insulation throughout. sound deadening is way too expensive and a bit of a con. loft insulation is VERY cheap and does the same thing, if not better! The stereo can BARELY be heard at FULL pump, from outside the car with all the windows up. thats what im talkin about. no sound is wasted AT ALL.
over 145db at 33hz. makes the front windscreen wipers jump about and actually makes ones eyeballs vibrate in the sockets. its great fun.

"shiny" says eric. we like shiny.

perspex. expensive stuff and a bugger to cut.

2x 12" 600w pioneer subs (1.3cu ft each)planning to upgrade them in the near future. perhaps a couple of audiobahn immortal subs. we'll see. means changing the amps though and thats a bugger.
center custom made seat, trimmed in alcantara. built from wood and fibre glass. 13cm coaxials in ceiling builds in the back.

8" subwoofers in doors. bass up front means its all balanced.

5.5" + tweeter components in ceiling builds up front
5 halogen lights and neons. i wouldnt put front speakers anywhere else now ive heard this setup.
Id like to know what everyone thinks of my project proton. any constructive critisism welcome, and why not.
