After the resurrection from page 3, there was no other choice than to jump back into the Max. The 2003 is definately a world apart from the 1997 I had, in both performance and appearance wise along with all the amenities this newer model has to offer. The 6-Speed alone makes this beast something, not to be reckoned with. All-out luxury and all-out performance get along quite nicely, and balance can be found in the details. Definately one of the truest Flagships of any automaker.

Here's the new SS Cattman Headers currently under the testing phase and should be out within this next month.
Zex 75 Shot Wet Kit
Install: This is the easiest Nitrous System to install. Everything is built into the Nitrous Management Unit. Thanks to a couple friends Haydn and Matt for taking the time to help me out a little. I probably need to clean up the engine bay a little so it looks better, but who needs looks when you get nasty on someone?
Impression:
This the sickest thing I've done to the Max. With only a 75 shot the 3.5VQ just comes alive. Set at WOT once the activation switch is flipped, she jumps 500 RPMs and it's a hold-on roller coaster from there. She's definately fast, and hopefully faster when I move up to 100 shot.

Short Throw Shifter
Install: Took as long to drill a hole and screw on a bolt. Install took about 30mins. A friend Matt came up with the idea since buying a new short throw kit is almost 200 dollars. It works and basically free.
Impression: It's amazing how much time you shave off with quicker shifts. Not only that, but it feels crispier although still notchy. I recommend saving your money and completing this mod if you have a 6 speed.
Angel Eyes
Install: Took about 2 hours to do. I also cleared out the orange turn signal lens, and replaced the bulb with a chrome bulb emitting a white light, purchased from Autolumination.com.
Impression: Check it out for yourself...I think it's a big improvement, and the light output from the Angel Eyes looks better than OEM BMWs. Thanks Umnitza.com for providing this.
DDE Angel Eyes Ignitors
Install: I had to get these because I washed my engine bay, and didn't realize that these ignitor boxes were not waterproof. Result....No more angel eyes. With these new ignitors installed, I should be back to raising havoc in the night.
Carbon Fiber Mirrors/Carbon Fiber Door Sills
Install: Took about 30 mins with heavy duty double sided tape. The longest part was getting it to align perfectly.
Impression: I've always been a fan of Carbon Fiber. On black it's subtle enough to my liking and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. The shell is nice and glossy, and the weaves seemed nicely. Thanks Paradox-Systems for providing this.
Paradox Systems Rear Window Spoiler Half Size
Install: Really takes 2 people to align perfectly, about 5 mins.
Impression: Stands out enough to not be part of the crowd, but doesn't take away from the rest of the body lines. All in all, I'm please with this purchase.

Install: Complements goes out to SR20DEN for helping me mount and balance these.
Impression: For looks, they speak for themselves, but I can definately feel more torque steer in the wheel. The upside is that I can handle curves exponentially better...Tires have yet to be lit up, but I'll wait to tear into them when i get a few miles on it first. New tires look so nice.

Install: Thanks Lightning Mike's, even though it took me 2 months to get this Group Deal going.
Impression: I love the fact that I can see you and you can't see me. Changes the look of the car also with tint. No more blaring sun in my eyes. Interior seems alot cooler on a hot day. One word......Sweet!!

Big 3 Upgrades
Install: A little overkill, but I got a good deal on the components. This install was to setup for the system that is about to be installed into the car. Replaced +/- Terminals to non corrosive ones used in competition. Replaced battery cables to upgraded 0 Gauge wires. Currently locating a simple and clean battery tie down to replace the fugly OEM one. Cardboard is to keep the Optima clean from the rust of the OEM tie down.
Positive Side: From + terminal to positive oem terminal, and tucked under battery. From + terminal to 300Amp ANL Fuse Block to + Alternator side.
Negative Side: From - terminal to Engine Block. From - terminal to Chassis. From Engine Block to Chassis.
Impression: Startup seems to respond very quick. No dimming of lights under multiple accessories. All interior and gauge lights are more brighter. I know this was a little overkill on the Wire Gauge, but I'm pretty satisfied with the results. You can probably perform the same install with a lesser Gauge. Stock is around 4 Gauges, you can drop to a 2 Gauge if you'd like. It's all personal preference. Enjoy!
Smoked Front Side Markers
Install: Thanks CustomEnterprise. Took 5 minutes to do. Kept the Polar M4s.
Impression: Looks great. Blends in very well. Below you can see the difference between the regular clears, and the smoked clears.

Tinted Rear Tails
Install: 1 Can of VHT Niteshades does the job. Took about 3 hours, waiting 30 minutes between coats with plastic prep. Make sure you wash the car and have it spotless and lintless.
Impression: I like this look, for now it's one of a kind. I hope I didn't go to dark, but one of the problems I ran into was getting them both the same amount of tint. Hold patience and it'll be perfect.
Daytime

Install: Install was pretty straight forward if you're one to follow directions. I had a little help from my local buddies that have done the install before. Took a couple of hours to do.
Impression: Soon to come. I need to mod a little more and then get this thing on the dyno to tune out some kinks.
All of these items came within a 2 week period. Now to find time to do the installs.

Impression: They handle like 19's should and not as bling as my Privat Profil's, but I've always wanted these and now I have them. I'm a wheel freak and like to change up every so often, so these will more than likely have a future in someone else's hands.
Modified Engine Cover
Install: Tedious is an understatement when it comes to idea, design, and final outcome. This took a couple months to do, waiting on a new emblem, and finding the time to complete this project.
Impression: I'm pleased with the outcome. Not only was it suppose to be functional (disburse heat), but enhance the boring engine compartment as well. I think it complements both of my goals. I'll let you decide the final verdict on that one.
