There were just a few mods when I bought the car with only 12,800 miles. It came with tinted windows, a Dinan chip, K&N filter air box, H&R springs, Eibach sway bars and these Racing Dynamics rims. Here is a pic of what it looked like the day I bought it.

I found out that my cylinder head had cracks because Mechtech overheated my car before they blew up the engine. I never overheated the car ever. Then I find out later they hooked up the Vanos wrong so they were never working. Mechtech could not do one thing right!

I thought that my current steering wheel wasn't classy enough for my car. I like the Millenium wheel but a lot of guys have that one. Then I saw this new one by MOMO. So it's on the way! Easy swap!

I took a quick pick with 2 of the 3 Defi gauges in the dual gauge pod. If the other gauge pod fits correctly then the 3rd gauge will go above these 2 gauges. Otherwise I will have to mount that gauge someplace else.

BMW E36 M3 1995-1999 Brake Kit - 4 Wheel Brake kit, 2 Piece 355mm x 32mm front and 332mm x 32mm rear drilled Rotors with 7075 T-6 billet Aluminum Directional hats, 4 Piston ST40 Calipers painted Red for Front and Rear, 2 sets Axxis Ultimate High Performance brake pads, Stainless Steel Brake Lines for front and rear! It will be about a month before they are on :(

I drove the car for a month. The Link Plus ECU is not working right. My mechanic found out it was the wiring from the previous tuner Mechtech. They wired the Vanos to stay on until redline which shorted out the solenoid in the Vanos which burnt wiring in the Link & almost caused a fire, then the chain reaction went to the Link Ignitors which are now toast & the MSD Ignition box #2. The Link was taken out & a Haltech E6k 717 is going in. Another MSD #4 Box was installed. Ignitors won't be needed for the Haltech computer.
