01.08.06 I added a TWM short shift adapter. A nice feel, shorter shifts, and better precision. With the weighted 350Z knob it feels much better than stock.
11.15.05 I replaced the stock rubber pedal pads with aluminum pedals from an Altima SE-R. These replacements are OEM Nissan products featuring aluminum surfaces with rubber inserts. These improve the look and function of the pedals, improving grip and appearance. I also added an aluminum dead pedal footrest from an Altima. This part required minor modification to fit the SpecV.

I also replaced the plastic stock shift knob with a stock knob from a Nissan 350Z. This knob has a slightly lower height and is weighted to assist in a more firm shifter feel. I have noticed a slight improvement in the overall shifting action, and I hope to soon enhance this further with some form of short throw shift adapter.

As of right now, the stock pleather shift boot is in place while I determine the proper aftermarket boot to address the width of the 350Z knob and the height of the SpecV stock shifter shaft.
