Not much has changed, except for the switch to the BBS RK rims. ET 42, 17 x 7, 17 lb., polished finish. I am still not sold on the "euro" rims on a Japanese Boiracer, but it I like them better than the ADRs.

To adjust the stance and handling of the car, I went with Nismo S-Tune springs (from their S-Tune suspension package) and Koni Sport (Yellow) struts (R) and strut inserts (R). This lowers the car by 1.0" in the front and between 0.6-0.7" in the rear.

10.07.06 I pulled the OEM rims and tires and went to an RS Limited (Same company as ADR Wheels) 17x7 rim design, the Concept Pro II in gunmetal with a polished lip. They feature a 40mm offset and weigh in at only 17 lb.- pretty light for a 17" rim. I know that the combo is pretty cliche, but I like the design and don't see anyone else in town with a similar setup. The rims are a pretty blatant ROTA knockoff, but the lip design sets it apart a bit.
Around the rims are a set of 215/45/R17 Toyo Proxes4 tires. I needed something that would run well in good weather and would at least be passable in the winter. They are "W" rated. I got these from www.edgeracing.com and really like them as an all-around tire. They are good in the rain, good in dry, and seem to hold grip well in low temperature conditions. I have still not tried them in the snow, but they have been good to me so far. They are not what I would call a "great" tire, but they are great for the money.
06.01.06 Swapped out the OEM "fencing foil" antenna for a modified OnStar antenna. It had to be re-threaded with a longer shaft to fit in the stock antenna recepticle, but it fits now.
