Thanks For Visiting My page. Don't forget to check back often, as I will be posting updates and pics of the racing season as it progresses. The car you are about to see is a 1970 Dodge Duster that has been modified into a Super-Pro Drag Car. My fastest time I have yet to acheive in her is a 10.45 @ 124mph in the 1/4 mile. She has 550 hp at the wheels, and purrs loud as hell. Keep in mind that this car was designed to run on Sunoco Gold 94 Octane (not racing fuel = less accessable and tons more money), which makes this a fast car for the compression ratio we're running.

Here is a time slip of one of my runs. It's not my fastest but you get the idea. Notice the MPH. raceduster's 1970 Plymouth Duster raceduster's 1970 Plymouth Duster

If you're wondering what under the hood here's a few pics of the power plant. The blue cap over the carburator just protects the engine from foreign debris while parked, it is off while racing, hence the wing-nut. I'm running a 1968 440 Big-Block motor that is borred out 30 over, with ultra-light pistons 630 grams a piece, with eagle H-Beam rods and 1967 Close Chamber heads that have been flowed. The motor is all cast-iron. The Cam is a Hydraulic which works between 3500-6200 rpm. The Tranny is a 727 3 Speed Automatic with a Griner Trans-Brake Valve Body (launched @ 3500 rpm on the line) In this buisness, if you run anything other than an automatic (i.e. if you're running a standard transmission) your e.t.'s will be constantly inconsistent unless your a pro-star. Keep in mind my car weighs 2700 pounds, and the new motor in the car makes her go 10.60's @ 124 mph. I do race in both Canada and the US, when the pots are big enough to make the trip worth-while. While my car isn't street legal, a few mods would need to be made to put her on the road, I.E. swap tires, wipers and full exhaust (right now it is too gaddamn loud for the road).

This pic is of the spare engine that we have should something happen to the one in the car. Both look exactly the same, so essentially this is what is in the car, but you can probably tell that from the previous pic. We also have another engine that could also be used in a pinch as well as a spare transmission. You can never be too careful. This way in the event of a malfunction, at most all we miss is one week of racing as opposed to a whole season.

Here I am taking 1st place after a long day of racing. That's my Dad beside me, we built this car together:
