I've always wanted a quick little car, and the Focus is defentally one of the best cars for these wants. Which in my case were needs. Lucy was an upgrade from my old 1980 Mercedes 240D, that little beast had a 0-60 time of 32 seconds, so the Focus was a real big step up.
First week I had her. I put a full red StreetGlow underbody kit on her the second week, you can see the sponsor decal on the picture on the right. Unfortunatly my camera is not good enough to get a picture of the StreetGlow at night, so you'll just have to take my word for it ;)

Engine before any mods, except for the painted boxes. One great thing about this little engine is that the exhaust has been placed on the back of the engine, as opposed to the front engine mounting we're so used to in these transaxle cars. Ford did this to keep the heat of the exhaust off of the intake and rest of the engine. It was a great idea. Ford claims she puts out 136 hp, so I'm guessing its probobly around 125-130 in all actuallity.

A couple of interior shots

Now after the mods I've made, all done in my driveway mind you.
My sponsorship from DecalKits.com got me these stripes

Next upgrade was K&N Aircharger (Part #63-1101) That CAI has added great power and sound, I'd recomend picking one up if you've got 300 bucks sitting around. K&N says its about a 12-15 hp gain on an SVT. But I've been informed by the boys at FocalJet.com that its more in the range of 5-7, but I could defentally tell a difference.

After the CAI, I put on some racing pedals

Once that was done I decided to put some hose kits on

Finally I got some 5% tint for the back windows, and used some of the left overs to tint my side markers.

Now some random Pictures

I've taken her down to the Drag Strip a couple times to run the 1/8 mile. She's whipped the hell out of a Nissan 240, a non-turbo Supra, and just about every other ricer there.
Before the K&N Aircharger she ran a 10.447, after she ran a 10.349, spinning tires past the 60' mark. Once I get coilovers I'll be able to put some more weight over the front tires and reduce the spinning, and then maybe run a 10.1, I'll keep ya'll posted.

I have a couple of new mods, most notibly, I've traded the 15" steelies and hubcaps out for the 16" factory 6 spoke alloys, they look great. Considering painting them black, but I'm not sure yet. I gotta paint the callipers though, going red on those. That should be done fairly soon. Also notice that I have taken the sponsor stickers off of my door.
Thanks for hooking me up with these wheels BJ.

Old Focus

New Focus

Traded out the old chrome grill for a new ST Focus black grill. It used to be silver on the inside, but the Gate City Lincoln Mercury dealership's (where I am a mechanic) body shop hooked me up with some black paint.

You may be wondering where my sponsor stickers went? Any for you picky bast**ds at FocalJet, I know they are not official sponsor stickers, they're just sponsor sticker style, I had to PAY for all of my stuff, lol.

OH, there they are.
My new short shifter
