Here is a pic of what the e-brake used to look like
Ran a hairdryer on the plastic handle for about 15 minutes before I could pull it off
Entire center console had to come out
Had to grind off those two triangular knobs off the handle
After 45 minutes of grinding and fitting, grinding some more and then grinding on the inside of the new e-brake handle, it fits.
Though its just an eBay part, it could not have matched any better to the NISMO shifter
While it was all open, I decided to tighten up the cable with a few washers
Now i am working on the boot to match the boot i already made for the shifter
Here is the matching boot that i am working on for the E brake handle
Sorry about the crappy shots, when i used the flash it washed the pic out, and without it the shutter stays open and makes it blurry. TIME FOR A NEW CAMERA I SAY!!!!
So i had changed the bulbs that illuminate the display of temperature and fan speed, to blue LED's. The LED's work great and are bright as hell. Only thing is that the original bulb color was filament yellow, and the back of the displays had a yellowish film over them to make it look orange. Well according to the color wheel, yellow and blue make green, and that is exactly what my display looked like at night, a dull green. So after ruining the display by trying to remove that yellowish tint, i decided to just make my own. Here is the end result of 7 hours behind a computer and the ever-popular MICROSOT PAINT. I am sure there is a program out there that would have made this a whole lot more simple, but i probably would not be able to afford it. More pics to come soon.
here is all three displays after scanning the images and removing all the color
I printed them on transparency paper and used a "glass frosting" paint to give the clear numbers and fan directions a clouded, well frosted look :)
TTAAAADAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! Again i am pleased with my much less then expencive job. haha
now if i could just get that OEM radio torn apart to change it over to blue, i would be set
