Started the swap May 25th 2007, but the seal on my turbo has blown so I will have to save up some cash for a new turbo and some other goodies so unfortunetly my car will not see the road until the following spring. Because of work and school, money is tight at the moment.
The swap was actually harder than I thought it would be, but we went slow and steady without any major problems. The wiring was a headache since information on modifying the harness was almost impossible to find. The only thing left to do is to get a new turbo, fabricate some new intercooler piping for the passenger side and then weld my exhaust back on. Then of course my boost controller and gauges and all of that stuff, but that can come later.
This swap is costing me approx 12,000+ CAD (I've lost count I dunno)
I want to hit at least 300whp. A/C and ABS was taken out. Cat on exhaust is gone and I have a FMIC and boost controller which I will probably boost to 12-14 psi.
