Page 1 audio
Page 2 "performance"
Page 3 interior
Page 4 how i made my guages

Replaced sound system, sony head unit, Boss 6" and 4" component replacing stock speakers. two le cheapo 6x9's . 250 watt amp and two 6" subs bargin at $20 off ebay
tested my sound level at 115 dB

Installed custom 10" sub box (and 10" sub boss) boss brand and 1000 watt apm
250 watt amp was found in a puddle of water under my spare. it's dead and strangely no longer in my car

Sad but true, i installed a custom pneumatic ram that folds down my back seat to allow maximum bass through to the front seats.

by the way all this boss equipment is the cheep stuff the real cheep stuff.

tested my sound level at 120db at the front seat
so far my system has cost me $646.50 fair effort i think

engine revs started dropping to the bass
installed 2 farad capacitor

replaces the two 6" "subs" with boss 6"3way components and add a 400watt amp just for fun.

tested my sound level again.

my meter stops at 126db and doesnt measure anything under 50hz
i topped it, so im pretty sure its above 126db now

I upgraded my headunit to a new JVC KD-G725

89Tx5er's 1989 Mazda 626

My headunit now has usb interface and is capable of reading up to 4gb. at the moment i have no cds in my car but i have 36hrs of music on my 4gb usb stick.

you may have not noticed in the picture above but i also installed speakers in the front headrests bringing the total speakers in my car to 11
scratch that, after blowing up/ripping 5 of the speakers i put in the head rests i decided it wasnt worth the hassle now im down to 9:'(
-2x 6" mids -2x 6x9
-2x 6" 3ways -4x tweater
-2x 4" mids -1x 10"sub

1600watts of amplification.
-4x250watt (amp) -2x200watt (amp) -4x50watt (headunit)

Im currently installing 4"x6" speakers in the front doors to add a little noise to the front end, currently its a little tail heavy. bringing it back upto 11 speakers again.

the new speakers sit about 30cm away from your ear.
hopefully ill pick up a few dB

It didnt bring any more dB but it seams much much much louder

The speakers didnt come with grills so i hade to make my own, i think they turned out pretty well.

i fused the Boss 10" sub voice coil, so i up graded to a 10" kenwood

at the moment, a few people have actually said its so loud it makes your teeth chatter and its so loud it hurts.

sitting in the drivers seat you can feel the air moving from three speakers, the sub on your back, the 6x4's on your elbow and the 4" split in the dash on your knee, and im not talking hey i can feel that if i know its there. im talking hey where's that breeze coming from?
