THE HISTORY
I bought her bone-stock in 1983 with a 340/AT and it was my daily driver through college. The motor required a rebuild within a year and a new paint job after a fender bender. I was very happy to get it repainted on the insurance company's dime since I was tired of it being called the Smurfmobile. Nobody related it to Petty blue.
After graduation and getting a real job and a new car to be my daily driver, I did the best restoration that I could afford in 1990. It's first rebirth.
November 1983 - BRAND NEW (To me anyway!)
The 80's - When slapper bars and diamond tuck were cool! (For those from Atlanta, check out the Big Chicken!)
I've kept it up and changed a few things over the years, mostly in the form of maintenance but nothing major until this summer when the wiring gremlins reared their ugly heads. One thing led to another and now it's going through it's second rebirth.
