THE RIDE
Looks okay from 20 feet, doesn't it? Up close, it was a different story.........................
Here's how she looked after over 5 months at A-Team Collision in Marietta, Georgia. They decided not to fulfill there contract and finish the car, so I had enough and pulled her from their shop in February. They've since gone out of business and I heard from one of the former employee's that the owner is/was in jail. I'm going to finsh the bodywork myself with the help of a good friend of mine, Robert, who's gotten into custom paint and bodywork, first out of necessity and then as a sideline job. He does awesome work. Show quality. I was shooting for the end of the year to get her back on the ground, but now it looks like late Spring 07 at the earliest. - Damn work keeps getting in the way!
Some of Robert's projects - A pefectly restored Corvette that wins nearly every show it entered in and his "tool around town" Olds Cutlass. He restored both.
