THE RIDE
Looks okay from 20 feet, doesn't it? Up close, as Borat would say, "Not so nice!"
Here's how she looked after over 5 months at A-Team Collision in Marietta, Georgia. I pulled it from the shop just before they went under. I hope to finish the bodywork myself with the help of a good friend of mine, Robert, who's gotten into custom paint and bodywork, first out of necessity and then as a sideline job. He does awesome work. Show quality. I was shooting for the end of the year to get her back on the ground, but moving and lack of funds has put it on hold.
Some of Robert's projects - A pefectly restored Corvette that wins nearly every show it entered in and his "tool around town" Olds Cutlass. He restored both.
