Okay here is my "new" ride. Traded in my '94 Toyota 4-Runner for 'er. The 4-Runner had lots of problems, and after replacing the tranny with one holding 32,000km, working on the cooling system, and other stuff... Needing to put a new timing belt, and rear window seal in would have costed a bit.. Sooooo, in comes the trade-in. She's a 1990 Nissan Pathfinder 5spd, with 31x10.50 BFG All Terrains... Four of them too.. I love this thing, feels like she'll go anywhere, but we all know that isn't true. Anyway, a lift is surely in need here, and it will come.... In about one year... heh.

Well, third day with 'er in my posession I drove to school, a 1 hr trek.. Didn't wanna go to school clean, so I found some mud on the way. After school I went back to the same spot with a buddy, and we played in the puddles for a lil while, here are the pictures.

The aftermath

Here are some pics of my buddy in his F-150

Aftermath

______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
There was a mountain bike race on the weekend which was near the puddle in the above pictures. The morning after a long night of partying, after the practice run day, a few of us decided to find some mud in our trucks. Went to the puddle in the above pictures again to check it out. In two weeks the level rose alot, it's up about 2 inches past my door I would say. Buddy of mine in his old F150 "Big Green" thought it would be a good idea to blast straight through the puddle/pond, without asking how deep it was. And yes, he got stuck.

Mhm.. there's a winch on the truck, too bad it shorted out.
His truck quit running right as I was hooked up and in reverse, just putting some pressure on my pedal, and his truck quit..... no freakin way lil Patty was pulling this beast out.
It was time to bring out the big guns, the only person back at camp, because everyone else with trucks were practicing...

No traction, son of a b-

Hooked the trucks up like a chain, now we got 'er.

Here she comes...
UPDATE 11/2/05 Clutch is gone.... repair time. Told it is gonna cost around $1100, looks like I'm not even getting a deck any time soon...
UPDATE 05/27/07 Swamped the Pathy in a pond one night and hydrolocked the motor... time to swap in a new motor.
UPDATE 03/20/08 Got the motor swapped in. First ever mechanical work I've done.. mostly unassisted but with the help of the folks at NPORA.
Thanks goes out to everyone who helped me with info and pictures.
UPDATE 04/21/08 Bedlined the Pathy (three spray cans of Duplicolor Truck Bed Coating) and added a pinstripe. Also, I put on a fullsize Chevy push bar with two KC Daylighters, and also mounted two lights on my fenders. I now have 32x11.50 BFG Mud Terrains as well, four are oldschool and the fifth is brand new. Came off my dads Landcruiser that he bought, and they're mounted on the Pathy just so it has some shoes for now.
Masked and sprayed around the edges

UPDATE 05/20/08 Torsion bar crank yielded 3" of lift, in the front end, so now the 32s fit alot better. I'm thinking of leaving them on now, heh. Also made a snorkel for it, out of 2.5" shop vac hose. Looks alot better than I had expected. Pictures will be up soon.
