I've still got a few things to go on it, it isn't a real ss, im sure you already know, but still need to put an ss dash in to make it identical. It was an original brown mustard, gold color... really eye catching, but for the wrong reasons, so it dosn't hurt to clone it.

Hi

Very Nice Chevelle!!!. My father back in 1972 bought a 1972 Chevelle convertible new. The Chevelle he ordered was the Metalic mid night bronze color with a white top and white interior. The Chevelle was also a manual transmission. Later he put cragar ss mags on it and painted the chevelle a dark brown. He then put a 350 motor in it aswell and changed the colum shift to a floor shift. The bench seat he switched out with bucket seats from a Chrysler. He kept the car for 19 years and had to sell it due to financial reasons because he was building our home. I was five at the time. My dad was didn't really want to sell the car but felt he was doing the right thing for the family. He sold it in 1990 to a place called Main Street Motors in Somerville NJ. A few years later my dad and I decided to try to find the car again. We contacted the man at Main Street Motors but he lost all the info on the car and who he sold it to.. We had a registration card with the vin number and all but misplaced it when we were moving furniture around. I believe the vin number started with 1d67 and ended with a 788. I was wondering if by any chance the Chevelle Convertible you own sounds anything like the Chevelle my father owned. If so could you please email me at LeftyLans72@yahoo.com and let me know. Thanks!!
