***Update June 6, 2009***
Whoops. Stuck in the mud again. This is what happens when you have to pull of the road for an a**hole in a Dodge who drives right by you and the vehicle stuck right behind you ignoring and waves and requests for help. Anyway, was out 4x4ing with my family, my Dad got his GMC 3500 crew cab stuck sideways in the road trying to turn around, and I buried the LF wheel all the way to the frame; with the left suspension fully extended. I probably could have got out if not for the open diff in the rear, so:
New Ford Racing trac-lok differential arriving on Monday! So soon, I will be better equiped to get out of muddy situations without help.
***Update March 10, 2009***
Wow. Another year between updates. God I'm lazy. Anyway, easily one of the greatest things about working at a Ford dealership, is the discounted parts prices. All new motorcraft parts for cost plus 10%. That's right. Freshly rebuilt t-case, new rear axle seals, intake gaskets, spark plugs, wires, cap rotor, wiper motor, R-134a retrofit, etc. The list goes on. This is now one of the best running old Fords on the road. I'm a firm beleiver that this truck will NEVER die.
I'll get some more pictures up this summer now that the 4x4 is working properly again.
***Update February 23, 2008***
I realized today it's been over a year since i updated this page, so i figured what the hell? Had lots of ongoing clutch problems, but finally resolved it will a new Ford clutch, flywheel, slave, and master cylinder, as well as rebuilding the clutch pedal bracket. But there have been other problems since then...Just put in new wheel bearings and front brakes today, but i'll be rebuilding the t-case in a few months (when it's warm enough to daily drive my motorcycle and can park the truck for a while).
***Update February 7***
Sorry it's been so long since my last update, here's a quick rundown of whats happened in the last few months: i graduated from college, found a job in sheridan wyoming (3745 feet elevation) at a ford dealership (yeah, ford) got a great little house, and spent money on my hot rod. now the truck's clutch is having some problem again, so guess what? out comes the tranny this saturday (at least this time i have a hoist and air tools). so there you go. more later if i feel like it.
***Update August 21***
Actually, it's the 22nd now...it's quarter to 3 in the morning...anyway, took the truck up to the mountains this weekend and did some wheeling, thought i might post some of the pics.

Heres a few pictures of my 1991 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat. It's a shortbed, regular cab. The XLT package is pretty sweet, including the 5.0 EFI 5-Speed manual tranny combo, which in my opinion is the best Ford ever offered. It also includes the Borg-Warner transfer case and Ford 8.8 rear-end, and Warn manual hubs (the most effecient 4x4 system).
As you can see by the condition of the body on my truck, i dont baby this beast. i treat it like a truck. i haul heavy shit and 4x4 like i have nothing to lose.
I dont like flawless trailer-queen type vehicles, and i never will. if you cant enjoy it, why have it?
Exterior pics:
Here's my wife on the hood of my truck, she's so supportive of everthing car and truck related i do.
Here's a pic of my American Racing rims and BF Goodrich 31 inch tall All Terrain tires. You can see the Warn hubs here as well.
I'm a Chevy man by nature, but i do love Ford trucks.
Interior pics:
Bench seats? only until i can afford racing buckets for 4x4,
Gauges and steering wheel.
You all know the type, bling rims and unfunctionally small tires, big systems and powerful subs. not in this truck. This stereo was stolen. But i still have a Sony head unit, it's just crappy.
Engine and Undercarriage pics:
Borg Warner, the best ford ever had.
The glasspack that used to be... now it's nothing but open after the catalytic converter. My neighbors hate me!
Still stock for now. already planning for the future mods.
