The original plan was to do a H/C/I on the stock motor I took out. I had bought parts, THEN 2+ months of them sitting aroud, I decided i'd go all out. I sent back my PRC 5.3L S2.5 heads and Touquer 2 cam back along with any other LS1 based stuff. Thanks TSP!
. . . . I upgraded to the PRC 6.0L S2.5 heads and custom grind cam
Now look at what all those parts made. I built my entire exhaust system. Its a pretty wild setup and very different. But hey, I can do my own work...so I can do whatever I want!
Those are 2 medium powerpacks and also a pair of Flowmaster 40 series race mufflers. I love the sound of both setups. Its the ultimate system with those Race Ready electric cutouts. Those cutouts are WAY better than that QTP crap I had.
. . . . . I put in a forged 402ci. Bought the shortblock from TSP and assembled and installed it with some help. It is a pretty mild build and I drive it everyday mostly city. I get 13 MPG. I put out about 550 bhp so figure that one out.
. . . . . . . Dyno run! The bitch sounds wicked. You can hear the cam lope at the end too.
. . . . . . . While it was down and I was overhaulin' the entire car, I had the tranny rebuilt to handle some big power and...Got my brakes powdercoated!!
