Not too many people are street racing Buick Century sedans, so when people see this car, they often think it's a joke. Those Talon and Eclipse drivers who have been wasted on the street don't get the humor anymore. That girl with the Mustang thought she'd have me beat for sure, but she was WRONG! Don't underestimate the power of the BUICK!

Do racing stripes add horsepower? Maybe.

There is no nitrous system in this car, but I AM going to
paint an old fire extinguisher blue, and then run hoses
from it into nothing, so that it looks like I really have it.
Then those kids who cruise the park will be impressed,
but I can totally laugh at them later.

update: since this page was made, I've brought the car to 120,000 miles. Still runs great though! I had the brakes replaced and the brake lines replaced. I got pulled over for my loud exhaust, so I replaced everything after the catalytic converter and I now have a normal muffler on the car. Lame. I also got rear-ended by a 2003 Accord. They chipped my paint, scuffed the rubber on my bumper, and cracked up my taillight cover. The Accord's front end was RUINED. Yeah, even though they hit ME, I owned them. Plus the insurance settlement was pretty generous and I made some money off the accident. I love love love this car and so do all my friends.
