This is the Alpine CVA 1005. I control the Alpine CD Changer, Alpine Movie DVD player, and the Alpine GPS Navigation system, all with this screen. This monitor is motorized. It folds down and retreats back into the safety of the dashboard.

This is what it looks like when it is closed. Above it is the DVD player for the map that the GPS part uses. The GPS tells me where I am, and the brain of the unit figured out where on the map I am by using the map in the DVD player. Very good stuff, and great for guys like me who don't want to ask for directions.

The Alpine DVD player, Rockford-Fosgate EPX2 control panel, voltage meter, bass gain knob, and a few other switches. The actual unit itself is housed in the rear area of the car behind some trim pieces. The EPX2 has just given me far too many problems and I don't want to deal with it anymore, so I got rid of it.

Sugar and spice and everything nice...Wow, I don't believe that just went through my head, for no reason what-so-ever. I must be losing my mind (or just shaking it to pieces). Anyway, here is a vertical shot of the center consol. The remote control is in the cupholder, and in front of it is the voltage meter, and various switches for neon, and a couple other things. You can also see the 12 disk Alpine CD changer in the middle. This is probably the best 12 disk changer I've ever come across. No matter what I did, only extremely high SPL levels would skip it (or the occasional badass pothole).
