The beginning! Here's my '63 Fairlane. The picture below is about what she looked like when I first bought her. Had been searching on E-Bay for a '63, but as luck would have it I found her for sale on the side of the road about 8 miles from where I live! She's relatively stock but in real good shape. No exterior rust, panels straight. Not bad for a car that was not driven and just sat outside for about three years.
"Borrowed" Graham's idea about the floating grille. Look's great!
Body panels really straight and no rust.
Interior is in great shape. Working on some new door panels. Will likely stick with bench seats; they're funky.
