Guess its been a while since I wrote anything on this old girl. Its almost winter again, sigh, but hey maybe Ill get to those valve seals this year lol! Finally got my leaking caliper fixed, I swapped out the whole 87 brake system, for a 2002 Trans am LS1 rear brake set up. Was a huge PITA, wrong parts got brought in for me, 3 times, backing plate mishaps, drilling out mishaps, so after 8 months of fighting, they are finally on the car. Need to hook up the brake lines this weekend, and then ill take her out for a rip :D See how much of a difference good brakes make. That and no more air in my brake lines... This winter the TPI setup I picked up Im going to port match and clean up, polish it up as well I think, got an aluminum tpi extension off of a vette that Im going to sand and polish for it as well. Dont think Ill get to much more then that, except maybe repainting my passenger side door thanks to an a**hole and his bike that thought it would be a good idea to carry it between my cars, and scratched the door down to metal. Stupid people make me angry. Oct 8/09
Well, not a whole lot going on with the car, too cold to be worked on. Too many other commitments to deal with. But hope to get her up and running soon, finish all the little things by april...
Update: Well its almost time for her to come off the road again for the year :( And I have alot of those stupid problems to fix over winter. Brake leak I need to fix, Valve seals if I ever get to them, and a bunch of minor interior work I should do. Also this winter I am going to look at port matching my stock TPI intake etc, then its comp work, after that Its all internals in the baby 305 :D
Working on the GTA again. So far, she has the K&N cold air intake, aurora plug wires, new cap a rotor, Borla full Cat back exhaust, and Hooker 2055 headers and Y-pipe in. Oh and a all aluminum rad from Summit racing. Something also spilled on my hood over winter during storage, and it ate the clearcoat on the front of it. Sigh. So I have to repaint my hood again, wet sanding wont take it out.

Well this is my new baby, I just picked her up this month of september, for a steal and she is a blast to drive. Shitty part, gonna have to use her for a daily even over the winter cause no funds for a beater, and gotta sell the V6 bird to pay off this one :(

It is bone stock 1987 Trans Am GTA, 305 5 speed, with 205hp/270tq and WS6 suspension. There are only 110,000kms on her, and I am only the 3rd female owner. It even came with the original manual and T-Top bag.

Haven't decided what to do with her yet, but I am going to put in better speakers, custom petals, and a short shift kit I think not sure....
Well just got the maplight, and the driver side GTA emblem that was missing from mine :) Now all i need it the Firebird Flashlight and the console center pad....(Got them both now :D)
