I acquired my UC in 1998, it has been in the family since brand new (I am the second owner).
When I got it, it had a Starfire 4cyl and MC6 4speed manual gearbox. I’ve since spent a fair amount of time and money on it as you will soon see. I’ve done everything on this car myself, from the building of the 179HP motor right through to bushing and brakes. Its one of the essential parts of owning a car of the Torana era, and I’m proud to show it to you.
It gets it share of attention when I go cruising, I even managed to make it on the channel 9 news when I was a part of the ‘Peter Brock Memorial Cruise’ in Townsville on September 17 2006. It’s definitely worth looking twice at!
