Hmm....exhaust.... ...I have a dynomax preformance catback system on mine, but its dynomax only because the previous owner put it on. There are other common brands that ive seen on rovers, namely NRP and Borla...but I think Flowmaster beats them all. Getting a Y pipe and going duel exhaust is probably overkill, what I suggest is having them scrap the resonator at the back and use a 3-3.5 in pipe for the whole system to let your rover breath a bit more. This will give you a good sound and some more HP/TQ.

Hey coulis, your rover has lots of potential! There are a few lifts out there that are common enough. The most common are the Old Man Emu lift, and the Rovertym lift. The old man emu lift is normally a 2" lift, but most Discovery II owners prefer to use spacers in the back and 751 discovery I springs in the front to achieve a 3" lift (which I recomend...at least 3" if you plan to lift). This lift and much more information on it can be found at www.expeditionexchange.com, or more specifically http://www.expeditionexchange.com/ome/. This lift is very common and very reliable....I have never heard about the springs or shocks failing nearly as much as other brands. Rovertym Engineering's (RTE) 3" discovery II lift is netted at nearly 4".....to be more exact you are getting around a 3.75" or so lift. It comes with Procomp/Bilstein shocks.....procomps are crap in my opinion...go with bilstein if you have the choice. The issue with Rovertym is that they are on their 3rd generation of springs because the previous gen springs kept failing....sagging after short periods of time. I say they have awesome stuff but because they dont make thier own springs (they get them from an independent company)I dont really trust the springs....but they do get you high off the ground and way more flex then the old man emu's (OME). Found at www.rovertym.com There is another company that has been in the UK for a while and recently became more available in the US. Found at www.4x4ag.com they are the Scorpion Racing suspension parts. Im not sure what shocks they use (perhaps thier own) but thier springs can be ordered at custom lengths and spring rates so you determine the height and the amount of flex vs. load capacity. I have been on an OME suspension for the past year but after breaking a shock (or two) from jumping my rover (stupid stupid) I am deciding to upgrade to Bilstein 7100 long travel remote res shocks. I am keeping my OME springs because I love them and they are still some of the best. With this setup I will get the flex of the RTE setup but with the reliablility of the OME springs. To get the height to use the Bilstein 7100's (10" of travel) and use the expeditionexchange spring retainers I had to use Discovery I spring seats resulting in a .75" raise......this setup is nearly unheard of....I have yet to see or hear about someone with it but its going to be fun :) I bought my springs, spring retainers and spring seats from www.expeditionexchange.com (EE) and my shocks and everything else from RTE. I also bought Slickrock swaybar quick-disconnects for the front and will custom make some for the back. Hopefully with this setup I will get the best of both worlds. Hey....if you need more help, join us at the forum in www.landroversonly.com. There are others out there like www.discoweb.org or www.pirate4x4.com but they are usually pretty harsh on new guys and sometimes the experienced too.. Join the site and make a post about suspension or search the forums and see what is already there. Good luck to you...
