now to the heart and the soul of what i love about cars...the audio system. sattys came stock with front and rear 7" coaxial speakers, not bad really but there is always room for improvement right? so here was my plan...
HU: Kenwood KDC-MP828
Nice little head unit but not exactly what i wanted. it has lots of cool features but i want quality audio as well (which it delivered but i can get from others for a cheaper price). with that said, the head unit has been sold but pics will be posted until i get a new one. here ya go...

Wiring: KnuKonceptz
Most of the time i go the whole pre-packaged route with 4ga and such but this time i wanted to order all the wire seperately and this is what i got:
20ft. 4ga blue
10ft. 4ga silver
10ft. 8ga blue
10ft. 8ga silver
100ft. 16ga blue
100ft. 16ga blue/silver twisted speaker wire
20ft. blue/silver twisted 2ch. RCAs
All of that plus some odds and ends (connectors and ground taps and such) were ordered from knukonceptz and i have loved everything i got and i have WAY more wire than i need, which is what i was going for lol.

4ga wire going to the battery terminal with 100amp fuse for some protection...
Speakers: eD eu-700
For those that dont know, eD (elemental designs) make great products...so when i heard that they were making a "6.5 wonderwoofer" i had to get some. i got in on the group buy and got them before i actually had my car lol. anyways, out came the rear speakers and in went the EUs. these things wang!! they hit better than some 10" or 12" subs i have used and i couldnt be happier. i didnt have to build a box or do anything that i cant reverse in about 10 mins, no drilling or cutting was needed to get those speakers in the stock locations!! what follows are the pics of these little guys, go over to elemental designs and look at these things and their other products...
Amp: eD 9.2
When i was over at eDs website, i heard alot about this amp and let me tell you, the hype was worth it. not only is this amp one of the best i have used (dosent get hot, great design and looks) its actually been proven on many tests to be underrated!! so the "150x2" that my speakers are seeing is more like 200x2, which sounds good to me!! talk to eD, they have lots of this amp and its at a great price!! (yeah yeah, shameless promo, i know!!)
this is just a temp mount for the amp to keep it out of my way....ill make a better one once i add my subs and such.
